Kick off a study to analyze immunopathogenic mechanisms and the effect of vaccination in people with persistent Covid-19

The objective is to identify biomarkers and immunological mechanisms of persistent Covid-19 and to study the effect of vaccines. 300 people will participate in seven centers spread throughout Catalonia. The collaborative study is possible thanks to the logistical and operational support of the Daniel Bravo Foundation and the involvement of the group of those affected and persistently affected by Covid-19.

People who live in more depressed socioeconomic areas are at greater risk of adopting unhealthy lifestyles and diets

A new article from the Predimed-Plus project of IDIAPJGol and Rovira i Virgili University, relates socioeconomic factors and lifestyle to overweight and obesity. The study analyzes data from more than 1,500 people between 55 and 80 years old in Catalonia who participate in the study to deal with obesity.
