Anna Berenguera Ossó has a degree in Psychology and aMaster's in Social Sciences from the University of Surrey (United Kingdom). In 2011, she obtained the title of Doctor of Public Health from the University of Barcelona.

Currently, she is a Assistant Director, and also works as a researcher and as coordinator of the Transversal Research Unit. And since 2017 he has been part of the internal scientific committee of IDIAP Jordi Gol.

She also carries out postgraduate teaching activities, she is a professor of qualitative research in the Master's Degree in Public Health at Pompeu Fabra University,ICACS in UAB, the Master's Degree in Health Promotion at the University of Girona and the Master's Degree in Health Education at the University of Lleida. She is a director of 6 thesis.

 

She has research experience in quantitative, qualitative and mixed methodology in the fields of Public Health, Primary and Community Care. Her main lines of research are: health promotion, community health, gender perspective, sexual and reproductive health, complex interventions and citizen participation in research.

She currently has more than 70 publications in impact factor journals and more than 1,400 citations, accumulating an H index of 24. She is also the principal investigator of different projects in competitive calls.

She has recently been involved in different studies that involve the participation of citizens in research in which groups of people affected by certain diseases or situations participate in research teams. Among some of these studies we would highlight a cohort of patients with persistent COVID that includes more than 2000 people and related to this project an international competitive call has been obtained(HORIZON-HLTH-2021-CORONA-01-02) that includes different European cohorts in this sickness.

She is currently the leader of a consolidated research group called GRenSSAP (RD21/0016/0029) accredited by the Carlos III Institute within the framework of RICAPPS.
