The IDIAPJGol presents the results of 2 projects at the IRISCAT - COVID19 Conference

The General Directorate of Research and Innovation of the Department of Health, called a year ago with 4 million euros to finance research and innovation projects for the prevention and treatment of COVID-19. Only 19 were the selected projects, 2 of which are projects led by IDIAPJGol. These projects are the study on the immune response in health professionals infected with SARS-CoV-2 and the project to develop predictive models of complications.

The IRISCAT - COVID19 Conference will take place next Wednesday, April 21, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and will have the participation of the Regional Minister of Health, Alba Vergés. The 19 research groups selected through an evaluation process carried out with the collaboration of AQuAS and Biocat from among 42 projects, will present the results of their projects. The chosen projects are framed in the field of new therapies, vaccines and preventive treatment, genetic and predictive studies, and their main objective is to nurture clinical care with new tools to act on SARS-CoV-2 as quickly as possible.

The IDIAPJGol will present the results of the study on the immune response in healthcare professionals infected with SARS-CoV-2, and the project to develop predictive models of complications in the field of "Population immune response and prediction of complications".
