Study of the gender perspective of the mental health consequences of confinement

The study, carried out by Constanza Jacques, Tomàs López, Laura Medina, Jeroen de Bont, Alessandra Queiroga, Talita Duarte and Anna Berenguera, concludes that women and young people are the ones who have suffered the most at a social and mental health level during the confinement in Spain by Covid-19.

The authors also claim the urgency of establishing public health strategies that include the gender perspective and take into account age and socioeconomic conditions to reduce health inequities.
